Newgrounds

Okay, I finally have a Newgrounds account.
I mean, I've had one for a while, but not one that's associated with my work.
So, I made one. DistantChaoss. You should check me out.

I've made two games, one of which got epic blammed ("Maz3s", my first one).
The other is in the cleaning process.
It's the first of a series, ingeniously christened "Escape." Guess what kind of game it is? It's an escape game.

:D

Finished.

Okay then. Edited, published, etc.

I'll post it tomorrow, I'm going to BED.

Night.

Almost done!

I'm almost done. I've been working very little on it due to band, I've been aiming for bed around ten, and that's almost been out of the question.

IT'S ALMOST DONE. I've got the raw video, I just need to edit it. :D

Screw dates... WEDNESDAY.

This collaboration call is turning out to be more work than just throwing clips with audio.

I'll make it an SR8-fest in the video with the audio prominent. No music.

And I won't get to work on it tonight, I had band until 9. Sad day.

I'll get some more work done on it tomorrow, promise. PROMISE.
No band except the Fall Rally 7-8:30.

Ttyl!! :D

In response to a certain relationship.

All I can say is, why?

Why do you love him after all he's done to hurt you?
After all he's ever done to hurt everyone else?
Do you have any idea how many people he's hurt?
Do you know what he's done just to make you die?
You promised that you wouldn't ever let him get to you.
So why did you change your mind for him?
He's done all these things just to hurt you inside,
So why do you love him as much as he's lied?
Why is it you claim to defend your friends,
When really it's just us that hurt in the end?
Why do you love him when he's just a whore?
He just wants to f**k you, nothing less, nothing more.
Why do you love him for all that he's lied?
Why don't you care that he's made us all die?
He's done all these things just to hurt us inside,
We'll never forgive him for all of his lies.
Never again will I trust him with this,
Never again will I accept who he is,
Never again will we just watch you die,
Forever 'til the end will we stand up and fight,
For you.

One last post for the night.

Okay. I'm good to go with web blogging (<-- Lol), E-mail blogging, and SMS blogging.

Expect to hear from me a lot in the near future. :D

Oh, and the random quote of the day is...
"I dunno. I just went with 'fish.'" - Nick P.

^-- The "Random Quote of the Day" is something I'll be starting, and will most likely be the most prominent element of my blog. Just a way to throw a little out-of-context pseudo-innuendo at my [potential] readers. And it's also a good way to end the day.

QotD's and STLU's will be posted once a day, or whenever I post.
(So if I skip a day blog-wise, there won't be a QotD or STLU for that day,
whereas if I blog more than once in a day, I won't repost them.)

Another thing I hope to start in the near future is "Songs To Look Up." It's just a random song I pick from my iPod or from my GrooveShark for my [again, potential] readers to eventually look up. *Note: The songs may contain mild language, but it's nothing sexual. Trust me, blegh. I'll denote whether it's PG or not.* Most of the genres that the songs come from will be associated with some type of heavy metal (be it your generic heavy metal, death metal, black metal, speed metal, thrash metal, heavy thrash metal, shred metal, nu-metal, cult metal, or any other type of metal).

Today's STLU is:
"The Air That I Breathe" by All That Remains.
Heavy metal/Christian (<-- Oxymoron, right?)
PG

Of course, this is all just to spice things up a bit.
:D

Good night all, everyone have a glorious 9/12/09.

Testing (again)!

Hey again. Testing mobile blogging via SMS!

Nightwyre

So I've been getting questions and e-mails about Nightwyre. Primarily, what the hell happened?

Well, here's the deal. We really "don't" have a drummer. Lego (Michael Legorreta), our current drummer, can't take his drums out of the house. To make matters worse, he's constantly grounded because of grades.

Also, we haven't gotten a decent gig, recording, or even practice for that matter. Sure, we've been heard playing individually, but not as a band. And that's what bothers me.

I'm going to totally try something. Be it out of insanity or pure spark of genius, I'm going to arrange a concert-ish showing. It'll be at Green Valley Park, off of Smithfield, on a Saturday. Most likely on the same day as a band get-together. Just to show us off.

But see, here's the problem: We really "can't" practice. I mean physically we can, but without a drummer that is readily available, we can't be a band. We've got two guitars, a potential keyboard, a singer, a vocalist... But no drummer. Damn.

Oh, well. Don't ask me anymore, please.

:D

I got a blog!

Haha. So I finally decided to actually go and get myself a blog. I'm happy.
Or sorta happy. Idk.
I'm happy that I got a blog, but elsewhere's a bit of a fetch.
I'm pretty pissed off at Kyle. I firmly believe he's using Melody just so he has someone new to f**k, if you'll pardon my French. He's a good guy, but he's a total douche when it comes to dating.

But otherwise, MLIA. It's been pretty ho-hum around here, minus the torrential downpour.

Mother Nature has proven yet again that she truly is a Rebel.
So yesterday (and those of you in the RHS band, pardon my redundancy) we practiced a good forty-five minutes to an hour outside. It started clouding up in the east, but we figured it was no big deal, since weather patterns typically come in from the north-west.

Pahaha. Damn. Were we wrong.

So about 5:15 it starts lightning-ing (yes I did just make that up). So, following standard BISD procedure, Watson escorts us in. Five minutes later, here comes Watson stumbling into the band hall. Apparently it started pouring just after we got all of the band inside. Fortunately, it cleared up enough for us to leave.

And of course, the mishap before the RHS-BHS game just this last evening.

So it's a good hour before the game starts, so for the sake of ease we'll say it's 5:30. We have just finished a warmup run-through of our show this year for halftime, and we're going in to eat before coming out, suiting up and playing for the football team.

We eat and return to the main area under the bleachers at the stadium. While it's started pouring down rain.

And, of course, when it rains in Texas, it pours. At least in this area anyway.

We sit under the bleachers for an hour, conversing and playing various games. You know, typical high-school stuff. All while Watson, the other directors, the BISD athletics department, and the refs sort out exactly how the hell we're supposed to play in weather like this.

Watson tells us to pack up and head out, we do just that. We're out of that stadium and homebound in 20 minutes. Or so we think.

We get back to the school, get downdressed, get ready to leave, and most of us do leave.

The rest of us, however, do not.

Those of us band members who have Twitters got a tweet. Kickoff in 30 minutes.
Ohhh, crap.

So those of us at IHOP, Panda Express, Taco Bueno, and surrounding areas of the stadium head on over. Or most of us at least. For some godforsaken reason, the refs and BISD decided to have the game anyway instead of just delaying it.

And we've all got our Twitters, and our Facebooks and MySpaces, all updating each other on the status of the game, commenting on it, and posting the occasional "go Hawks!" or "go Rebs!" status. But for those of us, including myself, that had already headed home, we don't know what the hell's going on.

And to think, if we'd stayed for maybe another 15 minutes, I wouldn't be posting this. Or even have a blog for that matter.

Haha, you'd still have to be following me on Twitter.
